About me / My experience _

My name is Alexander Geraskin, and I am a software testing specialist with a focus on non-functional testing of financial systems. My professional journey in IT began over 7 years ago. During this time, I've progressed from a junior specialist to a project lead, gaining experience in various areas such as:

  • functional (integration, system) and non-functional (load, failover, volume, stress) testing;
  • analysis, creation and maintenance of project documentation;
  • design of new tests and maintenance of regression test library;
  • planning testing at all project stages.

As a team lead, I've gained extensive experience in training employees and managing large testing teams located in different countries and time zones (up to 12 people).

I've closely collaborated with international clients from the UK, Canada, Singapore, and Switzerland, which strengthened my communication, adaptability, and quality management skills to meet high client requirements.

Education / Research _

At Saratov State Technical University, I received fundamental training in information security and computer science:

  • bachelor's: Information Security (2013-2017), graduated with GPA 4;
  • master's: Computer Science and Engineering (2017-2019), graduated with GPA 5 (honors degree);

During my studies, I conducted research in wireless network security and information security, published in Russian academic journals, and presented at conferences, which demonstrates my analytical and research approach to technical challenges.
